Rob Lyman
Rob Lyman serves as a board member, Finance Committee member, and Assistant Treasurer for Upward Scholars, where he has been a long-time financial supporter. He also contributes his expertise as a member of the Investment Committee of the Los Altos Mountain View Community Foundation. Committed to community service, Rob has volunteered and served on the boards of several local nonprofits, including the Woodside High School Foundation and the Palo Alto Rotary Endowment Fund.
Professionally, Rob is President of Johnson Lyman Wealth Advisors, a boutique wealth management firm in Los Altos dedicated to serving the financial and investment needs of families, business owners, and charitable organizations. He holds an undergraduate degree from Princeton University and a master’s degree from UC Berkeley.
Beyond his professional and volunteer commitments, Rob and his family have served as foster parents in San Mateo County, successfully supporting two foster teens in graduating from high school and pursuing higher education. He also has a lifelong goal of achieving working fluency in Spanish.
