Record Number of SASS Scholarships Awarded

Fall 2013

SASS awarded 69 community college scholarships for fall  2013, more than double the number of scholarships awarded a year ago. Twenty-four of these students are taking classes on the Cañada College campus for the first time. Recipients range in age from 18 to 60 and are natives of seven countries. While the majority of students are from Central and South America, we also are supporting students from Cameroon, Viet Nam, and Iran.
