Meet the Family: Anuj

Happy Friday🌟 This week's Meet the Family Friday is a special anniversary shoutout for Anuj, who celebrated 3 years of serving on the Upward Scholars Board of Directors last month!

As a board member, Anuj sits on the Finance Committee and enjoys participating as a friend in our English Conversation Clubs, where he helps our ESL students practice their English skills.

As a firm believer in education and specifically equitable access to education, Anuj joined the Upward Scholars Board "because they were tackling a problem that not many others were focused on—making education accessible to immigrant adults," he says. "What I've seen in the past three years is the growth of this organization to adapt to the needs of our students to make sure they are supported in their educational journeys. Our staff is incredible, and our students' stories are enormously inspiring. It is a great honor to help and be associated with such a force of good."
